What is the Rewards Program and how do I participate in it?
Just like a ??frequent flyer?? program, we reward you with 2 points for every dollar spent at Colonial Electric Supply. Your points can be redeemed for really great items, including office supplies, outdoor gear, travel certificates, jewelry, children??s items and more. For more information, registration and to see if your account qualifies, click here to visit our Rewards page.All KEEN water sandals (both leather and polyester webbing upper) are machine washable and have been treated with AEGIS Microbe Sheild, antimicrobial technology that helps prevent odor, staining and deterioration. We've also taken great care to develop leather uppers that will not crack, shrink or stretch when washed. Even KEEN leather Newport sandals are machine washable. Use a small amount of detergent, wash on gentle cycle and air dry. We've carefully selected leather uppers designed to last.
What equipment do I need to have?
Our orientation program will supply all of the outdoor and camping gear. You will, however, need to bring all of the equipment on your equipment check list. If you do not have all the necessary items (such as sleeping bag or backpack), we have a limited number you can reserve from the Northland College Outpost. Please contact the Outdoor Orientation Student Director if you need to reserve equipment .
Can I use the same image for several keywords?
Certainly, this will be the rule rather than the exception. For example if your site sells tents, you might associate the same image for the terms "tents", "camping", "camping gear", "outdoor equipment" and "xyz brand name".Yes, students and schools earn thank you gifts for participating. Students start earning gifts at $5 and the first three gifts are cumulative. Students at higher fund-raising levels are rewarded with a choice of gifts. Gifts include trendy and fun sporting equipment and outdoor gear—items that reinforce the healthy living messages of School Walk for Diabetes.
Should I bring my own outdoor gear?
Yes!! If you have specialty gear like a mountain bike, climbing equipment, backpack, camping supplies, etc. They will get use on this project. No worries if you don't own any of the above. We will rent gear for you if neccessary.Much of the personal equipment we require our members to own is basic, good quality hiking, camping, and climbing gear but there is a possibility that the equipment you currently own will not be ideal for our situation.
What clothes should I bring ?
Choosing the right clothing is very important. You want to have enough clothes to stay warm or cool yet not over pack. Usually you will have warm days and cold nights. A warm jacket either fleece or down can be nice for the evening . Long under wear and wool socks are good for warmth too. We encourage people to bring a light pair of pants and shorts for hiking. Sunscreen and glasses are a must . Rain and hail can appear on a trek so we suggest a Gore-Tex jacket.You can now choose a variety of different hairstyles for each Sim. Match a different look to each of their wardrobe types, including the new Outerwear category.
Can I get groceries that far out?
There are plenty of large grocery and variety stores around Alaska. After Sterling, as you drive into Soldotna, you'll see a big Fred Meyer's on the left-hand side of the highway. (Fred Meyer's is part of the Kroger's chain.) As you drive through town, across the bridge, over the Kenai river, on the right hand side you'll see a newly remodeled Safeway store. Both stores have an in-store Starbucks in case you need your caffeine fix.Much of the personal equipment we require our members to own is basic, good quality hiking, camping, and climbing gear but there is a possibility that the equipment you currently own will not be ideal for our situation.
