To maintain the dignity of Convocation, we ask that you dress appropriate to the occasion. No flowers, jewelry or emblems can be attached to the regalia. The robes are knee length.Academic regalia can be purchased at the Barnes & Noble Georgia Tech Bookstore. Regalia can be purchased up to the day preceding the ceremony.Notices are posted online, on the University Records Bulletin Board, at the Registrar??s Office, and at the Gown's room.

Can I have my photographs taken in academic dress if I dont attend the ceremony?

You should make your booking with your photographer and then contact Regalia Craft to arrange to hire the regalia (Ph: 08 9328 4194)A letter will be mailed to each student's permanent address that has applied for graduation. This letter gives details of how and where to pick up cap and gown and have professional photos taken. Women are encouraged to wear dark slacks, a skirt or a dress, as well as low-heeled shoes.Graduation regalia should be returned within two hours after the commencement exercises. Late returns will attract a penalty/restocking fee of $500. If it is not returned your account will be charged for the full cost of regalia.
