If you are Cuban cigar smoker, or smoker in general, most likely you are aware of what an ashtray is. An ashtray as it may sound is something you place the ashes in "real time" as it's produced through the end of your respective smoke. Ashes are basically the burned leftovers that can't be smoked anymore. These ashes come in many shades of Grey and white or a mixture of these two colors.
When the tobacco (shredded leaf for cigarettes and one leaf for Cuban cigars) is smoked, the tobacco produces a natural discharge or leftover totally burnt tobacco. This totally burnt tobacco appears in Grey color in cigarettes and white for Cuban cigars. The better the tobacco, the whiter the ash it will produce. Just because it's part of the tobacco you are smoking, please note that you should never ever consume ashes that are produced by your smoke, they are horrible for your health.
Considering the risks of ash that is produced by the smoke of your desire, an ashtray serves an essential purpose of keeping it in a safe temporary place. An ashtray also allows you to dispose these ashes fairly quickly by quickly dumping the ashes within into a garbage can or simply using your built in in garbage dispenser in your sink. Just don't tell your old lady that.
Kindly note that ashes from a cigarette or cigar can be very deadly for the visual health of your current flooring and can produce a very 'unhealthy' smell.
Now it's all up to you on what kind of ashtray is right for you. With so many designs and different manufacturer's to choose from, it all depends on what your smoking habits and needs are. You can go for the very basic one that you can purchase from any convenience store or your can simply go to a special custom designer and give them any shapes or size that you prefer and have them make one out for you.
